Tickets for the hotly anticipated Scottish Wedding Show are now on sale, giving brides and grooms-to-be the chance to get access to the must-attend event of the wedding season as it celebrates 10 years of same sex marriage in Scotland.
The country’s largest wedding showcase is back this Autumn, running from 19 – 20 October at the SEC in Glasgow, bringing up to 200 wedding suppliers together under the one roof. To mark a decade of same sex marriage becoming legal in Scotland, The Scottish Wedding Show is excited to welcome couples planning all kinds of nuptials to the event, and will be hosting a variety of new and returning suppliers including Citation, James Porter & Sons, Monarch Tailored Willow and Wisteria, Wedding Wise, RAD Group and SMK Photographics.
From the latest bridal & men’s fashions, cars and cakes, to venues, photographers and stationery companies, the event is packed with Scotland’s top wedding suppliers, and has everything couples need to plan their big day to a T.
Speak about the upcoming event, Tsitsi Lynn Makuni, Group Show Manager said: “After a hugely successful February show, we’re excited to be putting tickets on sale for our October event and help a whole new host of brides, grooms and their families bring their wedding visions to life. Whether you’re newly engaged and don’t know where to start, or you’re a 2025 bride or groom looking to put the finishing touches on your celebration, the event has something for everyone, and it’s also a really fun day out!”
The Scottish Wedding Show’s famous live Catwalk will make a return showcasing an unprecedented collection of international designers including Berta, Pronovias and Trish Peng brought to you by trusted Scottish retailers.
For those looking for the perfect soundtrack to their big day, the Live Band Showcase will be in full swing over the weekend to get the party started. Field of Dreams is also returning to the October show, with plenty of inspiration for outdoor ceremonies and receptions in Scotland.
To help couples with their planning, Let’s Talk Tying the Knot, will also be on site again. Created in association with wedding magazine Tie the Knot Scotland, this programme of talks and Q&As will allow visitors to ask industry experts questions about their big day.
Couples or wedding parties who want to make the most of their visit to the Scottish Wedding Show can upgrade to VIP tickets and take advantage of the fast-track entry plus enjoy a glass of fizz in the luxury surroundings of the VIP lounge, preferred seating at the Catwalk, and a Clarins goody bag.
Earlybird tickets are available to book online now from £17 until Thursday 23 May or until tickets run out. VIP tickets are priced at £30 and Catwalk tickets are available for £4 (visitors must also hold a valid entry ticket).
