On Saturday 21st December, families can also enjoy a visit from ‘Harry and Marv’ – characters inspired by the ‘Sticky Bandits’ in popular Christmas film, Home Alone – who will be roaming around the centre, spreading Christmas joy and getting everyone into the festive spirit.
Glasgow Fort’s Christmas market stalls are also open daily between 10am and 9pm until Sunday 29th December.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “Whether you’re visiting to pick up last-minute Christmas gifts, enjoy a seasonal meal, or simply to spend time with loved ones, we're here right through the festive period to ensure you can get everything you need.”
Glasgow Fort has partnered with two local charities to support young people and their families this festive season. The centre has installed a contactless donation point at its Christmas tree next to M&S, allowing visitors to make a £3 contribution to baby loss charity, Simba.
For the fifth year in a row, the centre is also helping visitors donate to FARE’s toy appeal to ensure every child in the local area wakes up to a present on Christmas morning. The donation point is open until 23rd December and can be found between Boots and Bubble CiTea.
