The festival will now run as Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight, bringing 14 days of cocktail experiences, parties, and exclusive menus to Glasgow next month.
Now taking place from Thursday, 25th September, until Wednesday, 8th October 2025, tickets are on sale from www.glasgowcocktailweek.com. The thousands of ticket holders who have previously purchased tickets will now enjoy 14 days of discounts, unforgettable parties, and signature sips.
Why the name change?
Since launching in 2018, Glasgow Cocktail Week has grown year on year, celebrating the very best of the city’s bars, bartenders, and cocktail culture. To protect the event, the team has chosen to operate as Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight for 2025. The event continues to be independently organised and run by its female founder, with the same mission to champion Glasgow’s vibrant hospitality scene and create premium cocktail experiences.
Two weeks. Fifty+ venues. Hundreds of cocktails.
Wristband holders can unlock three exclusive signature serves at over 55 top venues, including Kelvingrove Café, Absent Ear, House of Gods, The Gate, Champagne Central, Sebb’s, Locale, and the new arrival Si! Si! at Social Hub — with £2 off every drink on the festival menu.
Festival-goers can dive deeper with two Saturdays of interactive masterclasses at VEGA’s brand-new horseshoe bar. Highlights include a Champagne PIAFF tasting, St-Germain spritz sessions, TikTok-famous Dirty Spritz, rum, whisky and tequila workshops, and a Ben Lomond Gin masterclass exploring negronis, gin fizzes, and brambles.
Other must-book events include an exclusive beauty, bubbles, and botanicals masterclass at Saints of Ingram on Sunday, 5th October. Four MAC Pro makeup artists lead the masterclass with live demos, insider tips, canapes from Saints of Ingram, a bespoke Ben Lomond Gin cocktail, and a mini bottle of Champagne PIAFF. This is the ultimate glow-up experience during Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight, priced at £35 per person.
Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight festival will also host a DRAG cocktail class for the first time ever on Friday, 27th September at the Corset Club. In an immersive show, Queens Shego Sinner and Latex will help you shake up two cocktails in an outrageous Drag Cocktail Masterclass. You’ll learn how to craft two cocktails, enjoy tasty nibbles, and stay for the wildest drag show in the city. It’s chaos, glamour and great drinks in one unforgettable night.
Wristband holders can also snap up discounts from partnering hotels like Address Glasgow to make a night out while sipping drinks across the city.
Speaking about the name change, Glasgow Cocktail Week/Fortnight organiser, Nicola Gemmell-Moir, said: “This festival was created with love for the city and its bars, and we’re proud to have grown it into one of Glasgow’s most exciting events. Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight is focused on delivering our biggest programme yet. We’ve always been about collaboration, community, and showcasing the amazing drinks scene here, and this year’s festival will be a true celebration of that.”
“We’d like to thanks all our supporters - LVMH, William Grants, Bacardi, Loch Lomond Group and Edrington, the public and the city’s best bars for their continued support and we can’t wait to roll out Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight with over 55 venues this year, including Kelvingrove Café, Absent Ear, The Gate, Sebb’s, Locale, Devil of Brooklyn, Champagne Central and many more. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or just love a good night out, Glasgow Cocktail Fortnight is your ticket to sip, celebrate and discover.”
