To celebrate its return for the 106th year, the Carnival is encouraging Glaswegians to ‘Scream to win’ their way to this year’s edition.
The IRN-BRU Carnival ‘scream-o-meter’ will be stopping by St Enoch Centre on Wednesday 27 August from 10am until 2pm for Carnival fans to step inside the custom-made scream pod for the chance to win prizes including tickets to the 2025 Carnival and cans of IRN-BRU plus the coveted money can’t buy Phenomenal ticket which allows the winner and 3 guests to visit every day of the Carnival for the 2025-26 season.
Opening on 19 December 2025 and running until 11 January 2026, standard tickets include either 5 or 10 vouchers per person which can be used on 70+ incredible rides and attractions, games, and access for younger kids to enjoy the inflatable play. This year’s fun fair aims to be bigger and better than ever with an expansion across the full of hall 3 now included to allow more rides and fun for all the family.
There are also three new ticketing options this year to fit all Carnival-goers with a cheaper ‘late entry’ ticket allowing access for the last two hours; a reduced price ticket for 5-9 January for those wanting a last thrill after school or work, and the new standard entry ticket with five vouchers, perfect for those who are happy to step back and let the daredevils in their party take in all the fun. And a new digital voucher scheme will also be introduced, making it even easier to get on your favourite rides.
This year’s ticket prices start from £14 for standard admission plus five vouchers, with discounts available for groups, concessions and Young Scot card holders. Plus, kids under three go free, and the first 1000 bookers can also claim a voucher offering 20% off selected Carnival food outlets so they can rally make a day of it.
The IRN-BRU Carnival’s popular Autism Friendly Sessions are also returning, with additional implementations including reduced music levels, adjusted lighting, and where possible, slower rides to create a more relaxed setting - running 28 December 11am-2pm and 5 January 5-9pm. Carnival organisers are also continuing their popular free ticket initiative for local charities and community groups with more details to come.
