Double the thrills this Halloween at Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow Science Centre is inviting budding detectives down to the Clyde-side this October to help them solve the murder of the millennia – with a science twist.

Taking place on Saturday 25th October, this adult-only ‘Whodunnit’ will include a scavenger hunt for evidence, finger printing, murder weapon analysis and other forensic fun – complete with cocktails and snacks for much-needed brain fuel.

Our investigators will also have the option to add on tickets for a special showing of Shaun of the Dead in the IMAX, or for a live presentation and Q&A from true crime writer, podcaster, columnist, and retired detective Tom Wood.

And for families – fear not! For Glasgow Science Centre’s famous annual Family Halloween Party will also be returning to all three floors of the centre on Friday 24th October.

Kids will be able to make monsters out of cress, learn about how a real-life zombie apocalypse would spread (with live demonstrations!), and take part in a Frankenstein’s dissection - where guests will have the opportunity to take part in live dissections of real organs.

Families will also be able to add to the fun with a Science Show to help train our trainee wizards, or an immersive Mission to Titan spooky planetarium experience for older children.

Throughout Autumn, Glasgow Science Centre will be showing a packed programme of other not-to-be-missed events, including the immersive musical experiences of Pink Floyd: The Dark Side Of The Moon and Led Zeppelin: Fulldome Experience, along with new dates for the popular David Lecture series and Planetarium Lates. IMAX enthusiasts will also be able to watch some fan favourites on Scotland’s biggest screen, including David Gilmour's Live at Circus Maximus, Rome, Tron: Ares and a Star Trek Double Bill on selected dates.
