Unveiled for the first time in Scotland, M&D’s Scotland’s Scream Park has teamed up with the UK’s top zombie creators, ‘Zombie Infection’ to stage the dramatic, adrenaline-fueled outdoor scare attraction.
The debut show, which comes complete with a disclaimer, centres around a reimagined biohazard containment facility where the corridors twist like a labyrinth, the lights flicker, the alarms scream, and the infected zombies are getting faster and hungrier!
A second haunt, ‘Freak Show: Uncaged’, presented by Stage Craft Entertainment, will also be staged providing thrill seekers with an unforgettable experience.
Jensen Taylor Connelly, Director, said: “This year we have two exciting horror attractions on offer and we are delighted to bring Zombie Infection to Scotland for the first time.
“This is like nothing anyone has experienced before – there will be lots of drama, scares, smoke and special effects. You really can expect the unexpected. And if that’s not enough we have a second show to ramp up the scare factor. It’s going to be a fantastic night, and we urge visitors to make sure they wear trainers so they can run!”
Zombie Checkpoint is aimed at eighteen-year-olds, or from fourteen years if a disclaimer is signed, and will run on selected dates and times between Saturday 4th and Sunday 26th October. A tamer show, ‘The Last Line of Defence’ aimed at ten- to fourteen-year-olds will also run at select times during the same period.
For horror enthusiasts looking for more, the second haunt, ‘Freak Show: Uncaged’ will invite visitors to step inside a circus where a psychological tale begins. This experience will run from Saturday 11th to Sunday 26th October on selected dates and times.
Various ticket options, which must be booked online due to allocated time slots, are available with prices starting from £24.95 for Zombie Checkpoint or for Freak Show: Uncaged, which also includes access to Theme Park Rides. The ‘Last Line of Defence’ haunt aimed at 10 – 14-year-olds is priced from £11.95.

Special features include Amazonia, an indoor tropical rainforest with exotic animals and plants, Devil’s Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl, a ten-pin bowling alley, and Krazy Congo Soft Play. There are also many food outlets to enjoy, from snacks to restaurant meals, including the award winning American themed diner Monterey Jack’s.
