GlasGLOW fever has taken over Glasgow, with 35,000 tickets already sold and peak weekend slots nearly gone, prompting organisers to add a full extra week of dates to meet demand.
The blockbuster Halloween light show, running at the Botanic Gardens from 24th October is being extend to 9th November, with an extra 7 days of ticket availability going on sale at 7.30am on Wednesday 17th September.
Celebrating its eighth year, the show’s nostalgic new theme inspired by the legendary 1980s “Glasgow’s Miles Better” campaign has struck a chord with Glaswegians at home and abroad. Thousands have taken to social media to share stories of Glasgow’s past – from the Garden Festival to Tam Shepherds Trick Shop – with organisers receiving messages from around the world of people eager to relive a piece of the city’s history.
Adding to the excitement is Miles, GlasGLOW’s new mascot, a larger-than-life smiley inspired by the iconic 80s campaign. He’s already become a social media favourite, spotted across the city from Buchanan Street to the West End, and will feature heavily across this year’s event, photo ops, and campaigns.

A staple of Scotland’s event calendar, GlasGLOW has grown into of one of the UK’s largest Halloween events, attracting 80,000+ visitors annually and delivering a multimillion- pound boost to Glasgow’s economy.
Produced by Glasgow-based itison, the event creates over 150 jobs and champions Scotland’s world-class creative talent, from lighting and sound designers to set builders and street food vendors.
This year’s show features nine immersive icons, a gourmet street food village, and returning fan favourites like Marshmallowland and The Patch, alongside major community impact through the itison Pumpkin Fund, which has raised £100,000 for local charities and donated 8,000+ free tickets since 2019.

New dates go on sale 7.30am, Wednesday 17th September.
Child tickets start from £10, Adults from £24, under 3s go free.
Option to upgrade to Mallow & Fast Pass tickets for an additional £7 per child and £8 per adult for queue jump and a marshmallow skewer.
Weekend and early evening slots are selling fast, book early to secure preferred dates.
Event now runs 24th October – 9th November 2025.
