Silverburn has been named as 'Retail Destination of the Year' at the 2025 SCEPTRE Awards, the Oscars of retail, recognising its exceptional performance and contribution to the UK's retail industry.

The win marks a major national accolade for the Glasgow landmark, coming just weeks after Silverburn was named Best Performing Large Business at the Glasgow Business Awards 2025, firmly establishing it as Scotland’s leading retail and leisure destination.
This week, Silverburn also celebrated a remarkable milestone, welcoming 1 million additional customers through its doors so far this year, compared to the same period last year. The impressive performance highlights the strength and appeal of its diverse retail offering.
At the heart of this triple success is an ambitious period of growth over the past 18 months that has seen 24 news stores and 10 new kiosks open, with even more set to open before the end of the year, creating hundreds of new jobs and bringing a host of exciting new names to Glasgow.
Highlights include the opening of Scotland’s largest Zara and Glasgow’s first H beauty store, alongside city-firsts such as Pull & Bear, Bershka, and HARIBO UK. These additions have strengthened Silverburn’s position as Scotland’s leading retail and leisure destination and a major contributor to the city’s economy.
