Sign ups are now open for our annual Dragon Boats race day, which will taking place on Sunday 2 June 2024 at Loch Lomond.
Dragon Boat racing is a competition with loads of fun – no experience is needed to take part. The event is an ideal day out for families, companies or groups of friends at beautiful Loch Lomond. Friends and family of crew members are welcome to come along to support their teams.
Teams of up to 15 people race in Dragon Boats on a 250m stretch of open water. Each team will need one of your members to be a drummer to keep the paddlers in time, and you will have a qualified helmsman to guide the boat.
A deposit of £100 is required for a full boat, or a deposit of £50 for a half boat. This is under £10 each!
A full boat is 11-15 team members, and a half boat is 6-8 team members.
You must agree to fundraise £1,200 for a full boat or £600 for a half boat. This is only around £100 each.
Our headline sponsor for Dragon Boat race day 2024 is Allied Mobility, the UK’S leading supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
