The doors will be open for a warm welcome from all at the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre as part of this year's Doors Open Days events!
About Doors Open Days: Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre
NO NEED TO BOOK, COME ALONG AND DISCOVER THE MAGIC OF SMPC! “Glasgow’s Wee Hidden Gem, a Jewel in a box”.
You are warmly invited to join us for Glasgow Doors Open Day 2025, hosted across the city by Glasgow Buiding Preservation Trust.
See a FREE Puppet Show at 11am, 1pm, 3pm seating on a first come basis - no booking.
See our museum displays around the building and check out our gift shop.
Visit our cafe for soup, children's lunch boxes, sharing platters or ice-cream and home-baking. Colour-in and cut-out masks and puppet activity kits available to purchase; to take away or do at the cafe tables, materials provided.
FREE parking at the rear of the Centre through our side gates.
Pick up our latest annual Children and Families Programme, which includes our October School Holiday week long Festival - MAGIPUP, Halloween, the run up to Christmas 2025 with shows, workshops and this years Panto. February Half Term, March Comedy Festival and June Westfest 2026 events.
Craft Activity Colour-in and Cut-Out Puppets and Masks in our Cafe from 10AM - 4PM. Lots of designs to choose from, mermaids, sharks, butterflies, dragons, rabbits... all materials provided £2.50 each or 3 for £6.00. Felt tips and scissors etc. provided on the day.
