Beginners Drawing & Painting

About Beginners Drawing & Painting

This course is an introduction to observational drawing and painting. We will cover line and tone, composition, scale and colour-mixing. Each class starts with a step by step demonstration, with exercises that are then put into practice for a longer period of drawing and painting. With structured content in an informal and friendly setting, this course offers guidance and suggestions to exploration and experimentation of the subject matter and materials.

By the end of the course, the participants will have gained confidence in their drawing and painting abilities, hopefully starting a life-long habit with hours of enjoyment from this contemplative pastime.

This course is aimed at beginners, but is also be suitable for those with previous experience.
