Our annual Light Up A Life Service is always of special significance to the local community.
Those taking part can remember loved ones who have passed away by sponsoring a light on the Hospice Christmas tree.
Participants will have a Christmas card sent to them or a chosen family member or friend, confirming that a light on the tree has been dedicated to their loved one, whose name will also appear on the card.
You can donate to the Light Up A Life appeal through the Hospice website at www.smh.org.uk. A minimum £5 donation is suggested.
After our Light Up A Life Service takes place, the Appeal will remain open throughout the festive period.
The lights on the tree will remain lit continuously until Monday7th January.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
