About UEFA Euro 2020 Glasgow Green Fan Zone

As Glasgow gets set to proudly co-host UEFA EURO 2020 this summer, we are delighted to announce that alongside the four matches being played at Hampden Park and across the rest of Europe (June 11 – July 11), our official UEFA EURO 2020 Glasgow Fan Zone will be open every day throughout the tournament, at Glasgow Green.

The official UEFA EURO 2020 Glasgow Fan Zone will provide a safe and COVID secure environment for Scotland fans and visitors alike to connect with and celebrate the tournament. A festival atmosphere will be created, providing an opportunity for communities to gather together and enjoy an exciting programme of sporting and cultural activity.

There are multiple sessions available to book, with up to 6000 people able to attend the ticketed Fan Zone (split into two sessions per day).

The Fan Zone will be a largely seated venue and will be subject to relevant Scottish Government physical distancing requirements. There will be large screens showing UEFA EURO 2020 matches, as well as a range of food and beverages showcasing the very best of Scottish produce.

FAMILY FRIENDLY

Alongside the screened matches there will be a 10m Festival Tower hosting a range of sporting, cultural and digital content, as well as a family friendly sports activity programme encouraging everyone to get involved in the action. This includes a multi-use sports pitch showcasing community groups from across the city who will be part of the celebrations, as well as many other chances to get involved.

CULTURAL PROGRAMME

It’s not all about the football, you know!

The Fan Zone Festival will take place across twenty-three days during the tournament, showcasing Glasgow’s vibrant cultural scene with a strong music line-up, comedy & drag nights, cinema and lots of family entertainment. We’ve worked with amazing local partners to bring you a rich programme that represents the diverse communities in the city and the vital community engagement work within the arts sector and importantly, puts a smile on Glasgow faces once again!
