Did you know that at the Depot in Old Kilpatrick, you are on top of the most northerly point of the Roman Empire? Below here is the site of a Roman fort build around 2,000 years ago. It marked the most northerly frontier of the Roman Empire, and was the end point of the Antonine Wall which stretched 37 miles from Bo’ness on the Forth to here.
Join local historian Stuart Forsyth as we travel back to the times of the Romans for a guided tour of this magnificent part of history.
The tour will be rounded off with a delicious Afternoon tea provided by Kerbside Coffee in their charming outdoor seating area!
