Are you suffering from pain? You are not alone. More than a third of adults in the UK are affected by chronic pain, which by its definition lasts for longer than 3 months. Did you know, over the past decade, pain research has become more focused on how our findings can benefit patients? Our research at University Of Glasgow investigates how the nervous system processes pain. Would you like to know how discovery research, like ours, could help develop new pain-relieving treatments?
Come to our event where we will explain why discovery research is so important. We will share with you some of the cutting-edge experimental approaches that we use to investigate pain, the results that these efforts have generated, and answer your questions on pain biology.
Book your ticket on Eventbrite. All welcome.
This event is part of Explorathon 2021.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
