repository of the undercommons (RotU) presents:
(en)countering crisis + (re)making futures
The selection of work on display reflects the artistic and eclectic talents of Nosheen Khwaja, Chris Manson, Fadzai Mwakutuya, Nalini Paul, Jamie Temple, Roman San Roman + Anton Vasiliadis (VBC).
Whilst each of these artists approaches their craft in a different way, the thread that runs throughout their work is an exploration of issues related to the particularities of economic growth dependent/dominant societies, extraction, imperialism, climate change, capitalism and the impact this has on our relationships with nature and each other.
artists + shows from 5 november
open fridays + saturdays 12-6pm + sundays 12-4pm.
