This November, the world’s eyes are on Glasgow, as we gear up to host COP26. This is a critical moment to address climate change, the efforts we can take locally and internationally to address the factors involved, and to effect change. But, are we already too late? Are we sleepwalking into climate catastrophe? Are we soon going to be the Walking Dead?
On the eve of COP26, Halloween to be exact, we invite you to join us to Shine a Light on the climate crisis, as we are holding a Zombie Walk and lantern procession to highlight the issues around climate change, in the most enjoyable and carnivalesque way that we know.
Join us at 4PM on the canal to prepare, and get in the mood with live music, dance, installations and workshops, then at 4.30PM we begin our Zombie Walk and lantern procession to Rockvilla.
Bring yourself, torches and lanterns, your best costumes and ideas, and we’ll celebrate the classic Scottish tradition of Halloween in style, as the whole world is watching Glasgow.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
