The 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference, known as COP26, takes place in Glasgow this year.
As we are getting closer to the #COP26 in #Glasgow, Outdoors For You team is inviting you to take part in our litter picking event on global day of action for climate justice Saturday 6th Nov 2021 at 01:00pm to show we are care about our planet and climate change.
Litter remains a serious problem for our plant. whether it's the local park, roadside, streets, countryside, and rivers. It is important that we change our habits and put our rubbish in a bin.
We urgent everyone to challenge littering. Litter would not be such a big problem if everyone just put their rubbish in a bin or took it home. Unfortunately, that is not happening all the time. Please join us and help us clear up a part of the shore of the Forth and Clyde Canal.
Meeting point: outside, Lock 27, Glasgow G13 1JT.
Litter picking are: The path by Clyde Channel from Lock 27 up to Maryhill.
Please bring a litter picker and gardening or work gloves if you have. Do not worry if you do not have it.
