About Screen Print Your Own Christmas Cards Workshop
What will happen during the workshop?
You will be introduced to the basic technique of paper screen printing, creating an individual design using blank screens and paper stencils. You will print this design onto a set of A6 cards, producing at least 15 to take home with you alongside envelopes.
I have never done screen printing before, can I come?
Of course - the workshop is suitable for all skills levels. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
Equipment Provided:
Equipment and materials such as screens, squeegees, a range of ink colours, newsprint paper, cutting mats and knives are all included. We will also provide white or cream blank A6 cards and envelopes and reference imagery. You are welcome to bring additional blank cards and your own images to use as inspiration.
Your Tutor:
Rachel is a printed textile designer and graduate of Glasgow School of Art’s BA (Hons) Textile Design. She is an experienced art workshop host and joined Print Clan as Studio Graduate in April 2023 through GCAS scheme.
