Artist/Album of the Year 2022 - Americana UK
Let award-winning troubadour Dean Owens and his Sinners transport you to a sepia-tinged Tucson cantina with songs from his stunning Sinner's Shrine album (recorded with musicians from Calexico), and a romp through his extensive back catalogue. A unique blend of Scottish roots and Americana, with fun and melancholy intertwined.
The Sinners band make a glorious, desert noir and brass-infused sound, with Craig Ross (electric guitar), Adam McMillan (bass) and featuring (as a wee festive bonus) The Meerkat Horns - Philip Cardwell and Charles Dearness on trumpets, with Dean's searingly soulful voice upfront.
The magical panoramic sweep of US deserts, infused with grit and dust from Scotland's post industrial heartlands.
