Come along to Granny Gibbs on Thursday, 5th May for another lively night of local comedy! We have a range of experienced and emerging acts starting with your MC for the evening, Granny Giggles architect and chief loony, Jimi Longmuir!
Jimi will be introducing troublesome troubadour and returning GG favourite Eddy Mackenzie to open the show. Fresh from a range of ever more prestigious gigs and even some appearances in the old telly box, Eddy will once again bring his unique and racous yet joyous brand of humour and song to entertain us all.
After that, newer acts Nico Ndlovu, Robert Jardine, Brian Kavanagh and another sophomore of the GG stage, Kathleen Hughes, will set things up nicely for our amazing headliner: the one and only, legendary and inimitable Dee Maxwell!
Dee is a social media sensation who has been storming the stage on her triumphant return to live comedy recently. She delights and appalls in equal measure while bringing real emotion to her sets with some honesty, blunt forthrightness and a devastating brand of tongue in cheek humour. We can't wait to introduce this genuine force of nature to the crowd at Whiteinch's premier destination for daftness and laughter!
Doors open at 7 for the show at 8, and you'll want to be there early to grab a table for another night of stand up in Granny Gibbs. Entry is free as always, though donations are encouraged and appreciated via the bucket.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
