Spring Concert with Jordanhill Community Choir and Jordanhill Handbell Ringers
The Jordanhill Community Choir and Jordanhill Handbell Ringers warmly invite you to join them for their Spring Concert on Thursday 19th May!
About Spring Concert with Jordanhill Community Choir and Jordanhill Handbell Ringers
This will be our first concert in 3 years, and we are very excited to share with you the music we’ve been working on. The choir will be singing some old favourites as well as some new pieces, featuring Gilbert & Sullivan, songs from the shows, and beautiful sacred music by Bob Chilcott and John Rutter. We will also sing a variety of folk, traditional songs, and spirituals. The Jordanhill Handbell Ringers will be performing a variety of pieces, including the Ukrainian National Anthem which has been arranged for bells and a Ukrainian folk song arranged for bells and piano.
The concert will also be an opportunity for us to raise some much needed funds for Ukraine and we will be donating half of our ticket sales towards the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, with the other half going towards our organ restoration project. We look forward to seeing you at our Spring Concert!
