Our open day is a great opportunity to learn more about what it's like to work in those sectors AND even meet a real-life robot!

NAUTICAL AND STEM CAREERS

At our open day you can find out more about careers in:
* Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
* Mechatronics
* Cyber Security
* Computing
* Nautical (Deck, ETO and Engineering Cadetships)

You can also chat to current cadets and STEM students about what it's like to study at our Riverside campus (read testimonials from Jake who gained an HND in Marine Engineering and Carys who gained an HNC in Mechanical Engineering).
SHIPPING COMPANIES

Recruitment and training representatives from shipping companies will be there on the day to possibly offer cadetships. So it's a good idea to bring your cv to pass on to companies attending on the day.

Companies who have attended in the past include BAE Systems, Clyde Marine Training, Ship Safe Training Group, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Royal Navy Reserves, V-Ships, Shell, Carnival Cruises, Chiltern Maritime, Princess Cruises, Anglo Eastern, Stream Marine, AM Crewing, RFA.

College lecturers will also be there to advise on course and apprenticeship queries.

If you are unable to attend the Open Day please email maritime@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk and we will do our best to arrange a visit for you.
