About 1 Tonne Challenge with Uplifted
'1 Tonne Challenge' with Uplifted. Come and join us for our open day event as part of Leap Sports Festival Fortnight.
Open to all genders and experience levels, we will have a coach on hand to help guide you through the lifts. Whether you have lifted before, never touched a barbell or just want to come along to offer support we are here to offer a warm welcome and the opportunity to try out some lifting. The session will be running from 11am-5pm, but participants can drop-in at any point throughout the day and stay for as long as they’d like.
Every kilogram lifted counts towards our goal for the day to collaboratively lift 1 Tonne. All ages welcome to come along to show support but you need to be over 16 years old to participate in the lifting.
We will have t-shirts, snacks, a workout clothing swap shop and glitter art so there is plenty to get involved with.
Clothes swap shop - if you have any good quality workout clothing feel free to contact us ahead of time to arrange donations, otherwise bring along some items to swap on the day!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
