Another Pre-party at Festival Village: Merchant City? Don’t mind if we do! As a pre-cursor to Gerry Cinnamon’s sold out shows at Hampden Park this weekend, Festival Village will host a belter of a pre-party over the 2 days with all the drinks, street food and music to get you suitably hyped!

Festival Village: Merchant City is located a stone’s throw from both Glasgow Queen Street and Argyle Street Stations, and sitting in the shadow of one of Glasgow’s famous murals, it’s in a prime location to admire some of the city’s vibrant culture. This weekend, the huge beer garden in the centre of Glasgow will have creative drinks specials for the pre-party event including Cinnamon shots (otherwise known as Fireballs). Festival Village are well known for their refreshing boozy slushies containing Bacardi rum, and will be serving up a brand new mysterious flavour known only as “The Belter”. They’ll also be introducing their Sinful Sangria, which contains Old Sins Gin by Smugglers Spirits. A Navy Strength gin at 57.5% ABV, this sinful summer favourite is bound to blow your socks off – much like Gerry Cinnamon’s performances at Hampden. There’ll also be delicious scran on offer – provided by local Greek street food vendors Feta. The quirky beer garden will be blasting all your favourite Gerry Cinnamon tunes throughout the day with a specially created playlist for the event.

If you’re in Glasgow for either of Gerry Cinnamon’s concerts on the 16th and 17th July, or even if you don’t have tickets and are a fan of the best-selling Scotsman, get yourself to Festival Village: Merchant City for the ultimate pre-party. Dogs are welcome and no booking is required.
