In this workshop you will learn how common plants growing on your doorstep can help you make simple natural remedies for minor ailments.
We will meet at the bridge over the river Kelvin at the bottom of Dalsholm Road and go for a short walk along the river. We will learn how to identify, collect, use and prepare the plants we meet.
I recommend taking photographs for identification as well as bringing back samples. You are welcome to take notes, but I will send a list of the plants with their uses afterwards.
Please bring a small jar and small bags if you can.
Please note that I am limiting this event to 8 people for better togetherness and respect to the site.
The workshop is £25 per person. Children can come for free as long as there are accompanied by a responsible adult.
