Castlemilk Stables is a refurbished 17th Century Stables Block designed by David Hamilton and restored and re-purposed by Cassiltoun Trust.
The stables were once a home for the horses and workers of the Stuart family that fell to decline during the 20th Century.
Cassiltoun Trust has restored the building, and with architects Elder and Cannon have created a fantastic space and a multi-award-winning building. The Stables is now a thriving community hub with offices, community facilities and a garden. Adjacent to the building is the fabulous Castlemilk Woodlands, part of the historic Stuart estate.
Come and experience a guided walk of the building, finding out about its amazing architecture, the Stuart family’s history, the stables’ history and what we use it for today.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
