Sleeping Betty- Halo Arts fourth annual community pantomime comes to Govan’s Pearce Institute & Maryhill Community Central Halls from 9th - 20th December.
Princess Betty is born with great beauty and has a wonderful christening, but the evil fairy Deadly Nightshade is pure raging at not being invited.
When she finds out she seeks revenge and curses Betty to prick her finger and die!
Can her pals protect Princess Betty? Will the Prince save the day? How does the castle survive with such a daft King and stupid guards? Why are there so many questions?
A rip-roaring ride from start to finish, Sleeping Betty definitely won’t send our audience to sleep! Join Halo Arts this December for our fab new festive panto taking place in both South and West Glasgow.
The show is from Glasgow based production company Halo Arts, who have become known for their community events, youth theatre programme and work in schools across Glasgow.
The show is supported by Glasgow City Council, Maryhill CCH, The PI, Elderpark Housing Association and Partick Housing Association.
‘Sleeping Betty’ runs from 9th- 11th December at the Pearce Institute and 17th -20th December at Maryhill CCH, with a schools programme running throughout December reaching over 7000 primary school pupils from across Glasgow.
