The programme fairs were revived in 2015 by the late John Holroyd in Auchinleck and strengthened by the work put in by Douglas Stevenson of D&D programmes who brought the fairs to Glasgow.
Jim Thomson took over last year and decided to take the fairs Scotland wide with successful fairs in Stirling, Glasgow and Queen of the South then this year Aberdeen.
When Jim had to step back for the time being due to unforseen circumstances Mark Fergus stepped up and has done sterling work in taking the modern fair back to it's origin at Auchinleck as a tribute to John Holroyd then to Falkirk and the upcoming fair in Glasgow on December 11th.
Most of the vendors are collectors as well and legends in the programme world besides Douglas like Brian Johnson (Almondvale) and Stuart Marshall are involved. Rich Letts stall has unbelievable stuff.
Boyd Miller has been involved in all of them and has a good mix including Scottish junior and non league.
Always a good day out.
Current season as well as vintage programmes will be available
