Both artists bring new insight and focus to the idea of Transformation as a pathway of change and renewal within the human experience and in nature. Lorraine Lamond's figurative and vibrant works on paper, bring light ,insight and focus to the epic narrative of Jonah and the Whale and Anne Devine's abstract works evoke inner landscapes of natures' cycles of life, decay and new life.
The Gallowgate Artists studios are an established community of visual artists working in Glasgow, many of them award winning and amongst the most talented artists at work in Scotland today. Working in obscurity for most of the time, their lights get to shine at a time like this. So come along and experience the richness and depth of some of Scotland's most vibrant and inspirational artists and start a collection of their work or add to your existing ones. All works will be for sale.
Mince pies and refreshments will be served and a warm welcome awaits one and all.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
