New Chapter Children’s Writing Workshop: Map a Fantasy Adventure Story

About New Chapter Children’s Writing Workshop: Map a Fantasy Adventure Story

A new year is the perfect time for your child to try a new activity by participating in one (or all!) of our free New Chapter Children's Creative Writing Workshops between January- March.

Each of our three creative writing workshops for children in community libraries across the city will focus on a different theme and be delivered by a different writer.

For our third writing workshop we welcome author Juliette Forrest at Library@The Bridge, where she will be helping everyone to create a map of their own magical world in this fun, interactive workshop perfect for children aged 7 to 11. Expect map-drawing, tips on how to build exciting worlds and adventure!
Juliette is an award-winning writer of children’s fiction and has been writer-in-residence at 2 primary schools in Glasgow. She loves firing up imaginations and making creative writing an easier and enjoyable experience for all.
