Enjoy an evening of live music and documentary film celebrating the life and work of singer, songwriter and Easterhouse, Glasgow, resident Denny Oliver at Platform Glasgow on March 21st.
About Life and Lyrics of Denny Oliver
Denny began writing and producing music in his early 20s, shortly before the Glasgow rock band Scheme was formed in 1980.
The six band members played at bars and venues across the East End and city centre, where they soon became renowned as the People’s Band.
Members of Scheme went on to become heavily involved in communities across Glasgow as they helped to teach teenagers to play the guitar through charity work.
