Spanish Roses at the Spire
Trumpet and cello duo Spanish Roses will take you on a journey of Latin rhythms with plenty of surprises in store as part of The Spire Concert Series on Saturday 25th March.
About Spanish Roses at the Spire
The Spanish Roses are a very unique duo of trumpet and cello created by Ana Romero and Marina Sanchez. They will take you on a journey of Latin rhythms with plenty of surprises in store. The programme will include works by Piazzola and Albeniz with a coupe of Scottish traditional tunes and a couple of jazzy blues pieces. Both musicians came to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland a few years ago - Ana is from La Mancha and Marina is from Granada.
The venue is very close to the King's Theatre and Charing Cross Station. There is free Saturday parking in the area around the Mitchell Library. There are plenty of fine eateries nearby for an early lunch pre-concert or a late lunch post-concert!
