In this workshop, led by jewellery maker Teri Bartolo, you will learn about the lost wax process. You will be introduced to different types of wax and experiment with carving and shaping wax to make a wax model of your jewellery. You will then be able to create a design using a type of wax of your choice, which will be taken to a commercial caster. In the second session you will receive your cast piece and learn finishing techniques to finish your new, bespoke piece of jewellery!
The perfect opportunity for anyone wanting to try out something new!
Classes will take place on 28th February and 21st March 2023, 6 - 8 pm, at the Six Foot Gallery studio space in The Pentagon Centre, 36 Washington Street, Glasgow.
£60 per person (cost of casting jewellery not included).
