At Movement Park being active for life is important and keeping people moving is key to living a health life. Our adult sessions are all about creating a physical activity programme that everyone can do.
The goal is to make physical activity a positive experience and to keep introducing our youth and adult members to new skills.
What is Parkour?
Parkour is about exploring and finding your limits, and then breaking boundaries to reach your full potential. It is about learning to challenge yourself, both mentally and physically whilst traveling around various obstacles using different movement techniques, such as vaulting, climbing, jumping and balancing!
What is Calisthenics?
Calisthenics is a type of workout that uses a person’s body weight with little or no equipment.
The exercises involve movements that use large muscle groups, such as pushups. People typically perform these exercises at a moderate pace. They help to improve coordination, flexibility, and strength.
Most people can perform these exercises, regardless of the level of their athletic ability. Many of them do not require any equipment.
