Irvine Sneddon was a local history teacher and keen musician with a love for rock ‘n roll. With the support of the Irvine Sneddon Memorial Trust set up by his son David, we now honour both Irvine’s teaching and love of music with an after school group acoustic/electric and bass guitar class for young people(S1-4).
The workshops are geared towards less experienced musicians, but are open to all ability levels. The sessions are built around learning a piece, with different parts to play tailored to your individual instrument preference and level. Through playing together you will learn the skills needed to listen and communicate, keep in time and really play as a band. Instruments available for your use or you can bring your own.
