From Speirs Wharf to Bowling – A 12 mile Canal walk!
With two stops at Lock 27 and Clydebank for optional Fish and chips. A rest every four miles. Lovely canalside suprises of nature await you. Bring a flask and a packed lunch or enjoy refeshments at Lock 27, McMonagles at Clydebank and Patons Cafe at Bowling. The choice is yours! We will get a well earned train home after enjoying the views of the River Clyde at Bowling harbour.
No age or gender restrictions, but unfortunately this walk is not accessible to wheelchair users.
Kit Required:
Footwear suitable for a flat 12 mile walk and a waterproof jacket and or trousers are recommended.
