With six pop-up sessions running throughout July, visitors can meet a whole range of different superhero characters, from Spider-Man and Batman to Wonder Woman and the Hulk.
The events will start on Thursday 13th July and will be taking place from 11am until 4pm opposite Argos. There is no need to book in advance but it is advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
There will also be a small summer funfair at the centre for the whole family to enjoy, including a Ferris wheel, carousel, trampolines, summer games such as giant connect 4 and hoopla, and stalls selling refreshing slushies and snow cones.
Whizz over to the centre and meet your favourite superheroes on selected dates throughout summer. No pre-booking required but we advise arriving early to avoid disappointment.
Meet and greets take place opposite Argos at 30 minute intervals at the following times:
11.00am – 11.30am
12.00pm – 12.30pm
1.30pm – 2.00pm
2.30pm – 3.00pm
3.30pm – 4.00pm
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “With a number of superhero films premiering in cinemas this summer, we’re excited to bring some of the nation’s favourite characters to the centre for families to meet and get that all-important selfie.
“We’re always looking for new and different activities for our visitors to enjoy and we’re looking forward to seeing families making the most of the summer fun during the school holidays.”
Visitors to Glasgow Fort will also have the chance to win a £100 Smyths voucher. To enter, simply take a selfie at the superhero backdrop opposite Argos and share the picture on Instagram using ‘#SuperSumerGF’, tagging @GlasgowFort.
Glasgow Fort is open from 10am – 10pm on weekdays, 9am – 7pm on Saturdays and 10am – 6pm on Sundays.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
