The Pyramid at Anderston 'inherited' a collection of mid-century chairs when it bought its iconic building - this is your chance to get your hands on one and learn how to make it even better than it was before.
Learn how to renovate one of our beautiful and unique Pyramid chairs at our workshop on Saturday 7th. Expert restorer Frances Easter will guide you through techniques to clean, repair and upholster vintage furniture.
We’ll provide you with a kit to use and take away, and at the end, you’ll have your very own Pyramid chair to take home, finish off and keep forever. You’ll also be able to buy additional chairs if you get the restoration bug or want a full set. You can bring your own fabric or we have some Timorous Beasties fabric you can use. Early bird tickets are £100 (until 25 September, £125 afterwards) and include a Pyramid chair and everything needed to refurbish it, along with lunch, refreshments and drinks to keep you going. Places are very limited, so book now – email ailsa@thepyramid.scot to book or find out more. (If you’ve already bought one of our chairs and want to come along, we’ll take the price you paid off the cost of the workshop).
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
