About From Daring to Duncan: The story of building the Type 45

Paul Sweeney MSP, who was previously Operations Strategy Coordinator at BAE Systems Maritime, will showcase the modern, world-class shipbuilding methods and technologies now used to construct state-of-the-art naval ships at the Govan and Scotstoun shipyards, by charting the decade long Type 45 project to build 6 Anti-Air Warfare Destroyers for the Royal Navy, beginning with HMS Daring in 2003 and ending with HMS Duncan in 2013.
