Dirty Laundry

After three sold out shows at the world's biggest arts festival, split bill comedy show, Dirty Laundry gets a second airing in Glasgow at Don Mac's!

Dirty Laundry

About Dirty Laundry

The show was created, developed, and performed by three debutantes of the Scottish comedy scene: Kat Connelly, Roger Gunn, and Stevie Mitchell.

They are now bringing their hugely successful debut show to Glasgow at Don Mac’s bar on Wednesday 18th Oct starting, 8.30pm. Situated in Sauchiehall Street, Don Mac’s bar has a reputation for hosting hugely popular live music events and they’ve invited the Dirty Laundry trio for their inaugural comedy night.

The three met by coincidence less than a year ago when they undertook a comedy workshop in support of Cancer Research UK. They completed their first gig at the Cranside Kitchen Comedy Cabaret which raised thousands of pounds for charity and have remained friends ever since.

Dirty Laundry is a one-hour, split-bill stand-up show where each comedian performs their own set with stories are all about their own quirky lives, filled with hilarity, but also with a relatable authenticity. A bit like a mixed wash!

Kat, the queen of relationship tales, spills the beans on everything from divorce to online dating and her easy going, witty warmth allows her to style charm audiences. She even dives into anxiety, grief, and religion. With her easy-going charm, Kat will win over the audience faster than a swipe right!

Roger, originally hailing from Aviemore in the Highlands, but now working as a city bouncer, shares his wild stories of Glasgow's nightlife, with tell-tales of some of the city’s most salubrious sights and after dark shenanigans. He'll also tickle your funny bone with comparisons between life in the Highlands and his new home in Glasgow’s east end.

Stevie's comedy journey is a whirlwind from growing up in Castlemilk to global adventures. He started his career as an apprentice steelworker in the shipyards before moving into design and his job has taken him to Seattle, San Diego, Norway Holland, France, and Russia

Their hour-long set has each comedian pass the banter baton seamlessly, carrying on the story telling mantle which keeps the audience entertained throughout. After a pain free, fun filled successful run where they lost their Fringe virginity, Kat, Roger and Stevie are ready to air their Dirty Laundry, in the city they all call home.
