I will introduce you to foraging consciously and sustainably according to the Hunter-Gatherer Way. We will start by identifying some beginners edible foods including leaves, roots, seeds, flowers, mushrooms and trees. We will discuss our findings and enjoy some wild tea.
We will meet at 13:00pm at the Saracen Fountain in Alexandra Park, Glasgow, G31 3LJ. The walk will last for 2 hours, finishing at 15:00pm.
All ages are welcome!
Please dress warmly for the December weather, and in waterproofs and walking boots in case we go off the track and into mud. We will try to keep a pace to stay warm, and will enjoy a cup of hot tea at the end as well.
Free event. Please contact Ailee at aileeb_GCFN@outlook.com or 07868898253 with any questions or accessibility needs.
