About Sew Along Sessions: The Bog Jacket

A bog jacket is constructed from one piece of fabric and is sewn together in a series of cuts and folds of the fabric depending on your measurements. This style of unlined jacket is oversized and boxy making it minamalist in style, what fabric you choose is the interesting part!

The construction methods of this jacket make it a minimal waste pattern (some sizes will produce more waste than others) but you can use any excess fabrics for additional design details such as patch pockets. In this class we will be making a cropped version but if you wanted to do a longer version then get in touch and we can advise on fabric requirements.
