We're lucky to have three workshops from Aardman, the home of the nation's most beloved animated characters, Wallace and Gromit, Morph and Shaun the Sheep. The workshops will be hosted by one of Aardman's own Senior Model Makers, Jim Parkyn.
Buying a ticket for the 12pm-1pm event gives you access to a model making workshop, where you can get creative with clay and learn to make your very own Feathers McGraw from 'The Wrong Trousers' (1993).
Buying a ticket for the 2pm-3pm event gives you access to a model making workshop, where you can get creative with clay and learn to make your very own Shaun the Sheep.
Buying a ticket for the 4pm-5pm event gives you access to a model making workshop, where you can get creative with clay and learn to make your very own Gromit.
Each person who wants to make their own unique model will have to buy their own individual ticket. However, for example, parents are welcome to accompany and assist their child in making a model without having to purchase a separate ticket.
Part of World Gaelic Week, all three workshops will be guided in Scots-Gaelic by Alasdair Satchel, and English by Jim Parkyn. You can participate in English or Gaelic, but please let us know when you sign up if you speak Gaelic or not.
Purchasing tickets for any of the animation workshops gives you full access to our 5.30pm Scots-Gaelic screening of Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) / Mallachd an Fhir-rabaide.
The workshop is open to 60 participants aged 8 and upwards.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
