About Quilting & Patchwork: Foundation Paper Piecing
Foundation paper piecing involves taking small pieces of fabric and machine stitching them to a paper template to create a patchwork style design. This method of patchworking is great for achieving crisp lines on more unusual shapes.
In this class we will show you how to build up your shape using foundation paper piecing, ensuring you understand the correct order in which to do so.
We will be using the "Storm at Sea" pattern block by Little Black Duck which gives the illusion of beautiful curves. This pattern can be made into a cushion, as part of a quilt, or even as a wall hanging!
This class is ideal for those who have been along to our Beginner's Quilting already! Take a deep dive into the world of quilting!
