Are you a woodwind, brass or percussion player who has never played in a group, new to their instrument or who hasn't played for a while then join Glasgow Community Concert Band for their play day!
About Play As You Go Music Day
If you are a woodwind, brass or percussion player who has never played in a music group, is new to their instrument or who just hasn't played in a long time then you are invited to our open concert band play day!
We'd also love for experienced players to come along and support those who are just starting out.
The music will be straight forward enough for beginners but also fun and interesting enough for more intermediate and advanced players.
We will rehearse through 5 pieces with a play through at the end of the day, where you can invite your friends and family to come and listen.
Play some duff notes, some excellent notes but more importantly have fun and make some new friends!
