Since it was chosen by community vote in 2021, our flag for Maryhill has become a familiar and beloved symbol of unity, bringing Maryhill together in shared history whilst looking toward our future. Now, like the Saltire and the other flags and arms of Scotland, the Maryhill flag is being officially registered, and the patent of recognition from the Court of the Lord Lyon will be presented to the people of Maryhill.
Join us for a weekend of activities for all ages including:
face-painting
outdoor play
workshops
stalls
vintage vehicles
free refreshments
tours
guided history walks
… and more!
The Halls’ exhibitions will be open to enjoy and, specially for the weekend, all past footage from The George Ward Collection will be showing together. Maryhill Burgh Halls’ in-house café The Nolly will be open over both days.
We look forward to seeing you!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
