About Make Your Own Pyjamas From Bedsheets
This exciting new course will guide take you through the step-by-step of making your very own pair of summer pyjamas while reusing an old bedsheet.
You are welcome to bring along a bedsheet you’d like to reuse, or can choose from the reclaimed fabrics we have in the R2R sewing studio.
This is an intermediate workshop, perfect for those who have attended a Beginners Sewing workshop, or are comfortable using a sewing machine.
In this workshop we will cover the following skills;
– Chalking a pattern
– Cutting patterns
– Understanding pattern pieces
– Assembling your garment and finishing techniques
Using upcycling principles throughout, you’ll contribute to the ever-growing world of slow fashion and develop your understanding and confidence of using a sewing machine to create your own projects at home!
