The Remarkable Turtle was created by 3 industry friends with a passion for rum.
With a wealth of experience spanning from working with the biggest company rum in the world, cask sourcing and wholesale, Gregor Maclean, Ramone Robertson and Ryan Grant began their remarkable Turtle journey sourcing blends from the Caribbean and experimenting by finishing in Scotch whisky casks.
The first release of only 250 bottles which was aged for 10 months in an ex peated casks was very well received and didn't take long to sell out!
Since then, they've continued to release peated cask expressions, and have debuted their First Sherry Release.
For this release, the team have taken the finest rum straight from the Caribbean and brought it to Scotland to age in ex first fill Scotch Whisky sherry casks from Speyside for nearly 2 years.
The sherry casks add sweet fruity notes while maintaining a balanced, dry golden rum. It's perfect for sipping, mixing in cocktails or as a long drink - ideal for long summer evenings!
Join Jin from Huffmans in-store on Saturday 13th July to sample this delicious, award-winning rum for yourself.
This is a free in-store tasting with no booking required.
