About Silk Serenity: A Hands-On Silk Painting Workshop
Immerse yourself in the luxurious, ancient art of silk painting at our "Silk Serenity" workshop. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, this workshop offers a serene environment to explore your creativity and create beautiful, one-of-a-kind silk pieces.
Participants will first create an abstract piece to practice their technique, transforming this initial artwork into a beautifully framed silk greeting card. Next, you'll embark on a second painting, allowing your newfound skills to flourish.
We will be transferring our designs onto stretched silk using the traditional "gutta" outliner, setting the stage for vibrant creativity. The gutta outliner and silk paints are designed to be iron-fixed, ensuring your stunning creations are permanent and long-lasting. Join us for an inspiring journey of colour and craftsmanship.
